Triathlete Sam

In Reading we have been learning about prior knowledge. To use prior knowledge you have to say what you already know about something.  While we were reading a book called Triathlete Sam we had to think of some question's these are 5 of them. How does sport teach you a lot about life? Why does Sam like being a triathlete? How can you still run when you are 80 years old? Why do you need a number on your arm? How many times did Sam get injured in all of his race's. Sam has been doing race's since 1995.

  1. Hi Phoebe,
I was really impressed with your explanation of what prior knowledge meant. It was simple to understand, and more importantly, showed your understanding. I felt your questions where well thought out. They made me think about why sport is important. They weren't closed questions. You ended your blog post with a statement about the character Sam. I think it needed to be further up in your post. Perhaps after talking about prior knowledge and when you first introduced the story you read. Keep up the impressive work.
